Arley Hall & Gardens Wedding

Amy & Mary

Amy and Mark’s wedding at Arley Hall and Gardens was a day full of personality and charm. This historic stately home in Northwich provided an incredible setting, combining character-filled interiors with gardens that are truly one-of-a-kind.

The couple had originally planned to have their ceremony on the lawn between the herbaceous borders, taking full advantage of the beautiful garden setting. However, a rainy night before the wedding left the grass too soft. Instead, they tied the knot in the Drawing Room of the Hall, and what a space it was! With its intricate details, warm atmosphere, and grand style, it made for a truly memorable ceremony.

One of the highlights of the day was wandering through the gardens for some relaxed portraits. Amy and Mark wanted to take some time out together, so we strolled through the grounds, capturing them as they explored. The gardens at Arley Hall have been carefully developed over centuries, and the mix of traditional and modern design made for some brilliant backdrops.

Inside, the hall itself added to the atmosphere of the day. From the oak panelling to the intricate stained glass, every room is packed with detail and history. It’s the kind of place where you can feel the past while celebrating the present.

Amy and Mark’s approach to their wedding was all about enjoying the experience with their friends and family, and Arley Hall gave them the space and setting to do just that.

If you’re planning a wedding at Arley Hall or somewhere similar in the North West, and you’re after relaxed, documentary-style photography with some fun portraits thrown in, let’s have a chat. I’d love to hear what you’ve got planned!
